Undergraduate students Rochelle Stiles & Alex Carter, Graduate Student Sreya Paladugu, and Prof. Katharine Page had a blast running our first virtual workshop Materials: Solving the Puzzle from the Bottom Up with 26 middle school girls in April! Stay tuned for our next event, offered in collaboration with ORCSGirls.
We plan to package the program into a TechShopz In A Box™ (free, fun and engaging hands-on tech workshops for teenage girls, run by TechGirlz).
Workshop materials were generously provided to the team through the Mini Grant Program of the Division of Diversity and Engagement, Office of Community Engagement and Outreach, University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
